25-Hour Yoga for Athletes

The Yoga for Athletes module explores the anatomy and kinesiology of several sports. We will break down the difference between teaching yoga to athletes during pre-season, in-season and off-season. Visualization, pranayama and meditation specific to athletes will be explored.

200-Hour Foundation Teacher Training

with HEATHER ARCHER & KRISTY KELSEY

 

September 7 – November 11, 2018

The Green Yogi, Manhattan Beach

Mukti Foundation Module serves as the cornerstone of Mukti’s teacher training program.  The objective of this training is to prepare participants to teach Hatha yoga at all levels.  The course covers anatomy and alignment for over 60 asanas.  Participants learn how to sequence a class, provide pose modifications, and make adjustments to students.  Graduates of Mukti’s Foundation Module will receive an all-encompassing and ever-lasting yoga teacher training experience upon which they can continue to build.

JANUARY

 

 

25-Hour Pranayama and Meditation

with CHELSEA & MATT ROTHERT

 

January 7 – 13, 2019

The Green Yogi, Manhattan Beach

This module is for anyone wanting to incorporate the healing and revitalizing aspects of pranayama and meditation in one’s life. Waking up before the sun to do a daily sadhana (personal spiritual practice) takes discipline. This training is the perfect way to kickstart that habit! This elective is not only for teachers, but for anyone wanting to experience energy, joy and mental clarity.

25-Hour Yin and Restorative Yoga

with CHELSEA & MATT ROTHERT

 

January 18 – 20, 2019

The Green Yogi, Manhattan Beach

The Yin/Restorative module is geared towards teaching therapeutic and relaxing yin and restorative yoga. We will explore the benefits of yin and restorative yoga, the ancient meridians and the science of why our society needs this type of yoga. You will also learn how to sequence a yin and/or restorative class for balancing or stimulating different organs for therapeutic purposes.
