50-Hour Pranayama and Meditation

Join Julie in Kona for a 100-hour yoga embodiment training, consisting of a 50-hour Chakra Balancing and 50-hour Pranayama & Meditation training, appropriate for teachers or students who want to deepen their understanding of themselves through the practice of yoga, pranayama and meditation. Each day will begin with a sunrise sadhana consisting of pranayama and meditation. The morning daily practices will be repeated and will continue to build in layers of complexity. By the end of the training each practitioner will feel confident in safely practicing these ancient techniques on their own as a personal sadhana. The late morning session will be a workshop style Chakra flow focused on awakening and balancing the energy centers in the body. Each practice will have a different focus depending on the energy center spotlighted that day. Each practice will end with a deep Yoga Nidra meditation. The afternoon sessions will include discussions of the chakras, sequencing, meditation research (the last week) and a teaching lab.
The teaching lab will consist of hands on adjustments and practicing teaching with a partner. These sessions are appropriate for teachers as well those who want only to deepen their practice. If you want to master a skill,
teach it!

50-Hour Chakra Balancing

The Chakra Balancing module is geared towards balancing your chakras through a Hatha Yoga Flow. Learn how to safely sequence and teach yoga classes based on the chakras. This elective is appropriate for teachers or anyone wanting to deepen their yoga practice and knowledge of the Chakras.

In this Chakra Vinyasa module you will learn and experience:

  • In-depth study of the 7 main chakras in the body
  • How to determine which chakras are dominate and which are inactive in your life
  • Learn sequences based on the chakras
  • Learn nutrition-based ways to balance the chakras
  • Learn to balance the chakras off the mat
  • Learn 8 Chakra flows to balance the chakras
  • Learn to create your own chakra flows
  • Teach chakra awareness to beginners
  • Teach chakra yoga classes to all-levels
  • Chakra sequencing based on lunar cycles
  • Developing a consistent personal sadhana

50-Hour Pranayama and Meditation

This module is for anyone wanting to incorporate the healing and revitalizing aspects of pranayama and meditation in one’s life. Waking up before the sun to do a daily sadhana (personal spiritual practice) takes discipline. We will cover the exciting research of meditation This training is the perfect way to kickstart the habit! This elective is not only for teachers, but for anyone wanting to experience energy, joy and mental clarity.
